West Coast Fire Helmets originated from my desire to leave a meaningful heirloom for my children. I wanted my fire helmet to be known as a lasting symbol of my passion for the job and the dedication it requires. I purchased a leather helmet ( in the wrong color), I decided to repaint it black. With no available guidelines or tutorials, I researched different techniques and undertook the project myself—after all, what's the worst that could happen, right? The result was a helmet that surpassed average quality, approaching factory condition, and soon, fellow firefighters began seeking our services.

In 2012, we formally established West Coast Fire Helmets, specializing in helmet refurbishing, sales of preowned helmets, and accessories. As a family-owned business, my wife and kids play crucial roles in its operation. Along our journey, we've built strong friendships and acquired valuable insights. Anticipating significant growth for the company in 2024, we aim to establish a lasting legacy.
